The first educational initiative started by The Muthoot Group, one of India's oldest and largest business conglomerates, was St. George School, established in 1963 in New Delhi. Sanskara School is the latest addition to the rich educational landscape of India, which The Muthoot Education Society has been instrumental in developing.
Apart from the St George's School in New Delhi, the Muthoot Education Society is also credited with setting up the Paul George Global School in New Delhi, Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science in Kochi, and two premier nursing colleges in Kerala.
Numerous awards and merits have been endowed upon these institutions. This includes St George's School winning the Chief Minister's rolling trophy for the Best Teacher Team in 2010-2011, and Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science being consistently recognised as the top engineering college by Kerala Technological University for three consecutive years.
